Nicola Ader, a senior at Nevada-Reno representing Germany, won the women's high jump title with a second-attempt clearance at 5-9.25 (1.76m) at the Mountain West Conference Championships at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Ader also placed second in the long jump with a leap of 19-11.75 (6.09m), as well as finishing runner-up in the javelin throw with a 145-5 (44.33m) performance. Ader also took third in the 100-meter hurdles final in 13.95 seconds.
