Lauren Gale, a junior at Colorado State representing Canada, won her third straight title in the 400 meters in 51.30 seconds at the Mountain West Conference Championships at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Gale also took third in the 200-meter final in 23.33 after clocking 22.82 in the prelims, and contributed to runner-up performances for the Rams in the 4x100-meter relay in 45.22 and 4x400-meter relay in 3:34.57.
