After posting the nation’s second-best clearance in the pole vault at last week’s season-opening meet, Air Force junior Kathryn Tomczak was named the Mountain West Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week (Dec. 12). It is the third weekly indoor award (fifth overall) for the Williamsburg, Va., native.
