In spite of the surprisingly cool temperatures in San Diego, the Nevada track and field team stayed on a hot streak, finishing second with 136.5 points at the 22 team Cal-Nevada Championship in San Diego at UCSD. Capturing five individual titles, the Wolf Pack displayed some firepower that will come in handy when the real championship season rolls around in May. In an added bonus, the third school record to topple this outdoor season fell to junior Kerri Simmons in the Shot Put.
