Six Mountain West student-athletes were named to the 2013 Capital One Men's and Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Academic All-America® Teams today. Air Force senior Jeremy Drenckhahn earned first team honors on the men's side, while New Mexico senior Gabe Aragon was named to the second team. Drenckhahn's teammate Matthew Bell, a senior, was joined on the third team by New Mexico senior Thomas Trujillo and Wyoming senior Brandon Douglass. Air Force sophomore Rebecca Esselstein was the only honoree on the women's teams, earning a spot on the third team. It is the first Academic All-America honors for all six student-athletes.
