Amelia Mazza-Downie led a New Mexico sweep of the top seven spots at the Mountain West Conference Championships, covering the 6-kilometer layout at the University of New Mexico North Golf Course ijn 19:37.3 to secure a perfect 15-point effort for the Lobos and their 14th consecutive conference team title in Albuquerque. Mazza-Downie became the seventh female athlete to win an individual title for New Mexico, which also captured the team title in Albuquerque in 2017.
